ILM Level 3 Award in Leadership

ILM Level 3 Award in Leadership has been specially designed for aspiring or practicing first line managers to develop essential leadership knowledge and skills.
The Award is a concise qualification of 20 guided learning hours, designed to give candidates an understanding of leadership through two mandatory units. Unit one, ‘Introduction to Leadership’, explores different leadership styles and behaviours and their impact on individual and group behaviour. The second mandatory unit, ‘Leading a team effectively’, looks at motivating and developing teams, alongside the importance of connecting a team with the overall vision and strategy of an organisation or project There are no formal entry requirements, but participants will normally be either practising or aspiring first line managers with the opportunity to meet the assessment demands and have a background that will enable them to benefit from the programme.
